Symmetry: A Short Film
Everynone, the quality NY-based production company that few have heard of has released another excellent short film. Their work tends to be centred around the mundane. ‘Symmetry’ is no different – it’s about the little things, the every day, and the brief moments. By using the a split-screen, it takes the simple and makes it seems wonderful by looking at it from two sides of a coin. From the font and the back. Or, to really mix metaphors, through the microscope and the telescope at the same time. The end result is that some of these moments leave you bowled over by their depth and complexity. The last image is the most striking one, and that’s why it lingers. It leaves you cold… or is that warm?
