Timelapse Tutorial
We have a confession to make… it may come as a big shock… The Urban Times is a Timelapse addict. But we’re not embarrassed. We openly admit it; we scream it to the world! And we reject any recommendations that we sign ourselves into TA (Timelapse Anonymous).
Over time, as we’ve posted tens of brief timelapse sequences, which have admittedly become so common across the internet that one wonders whether there’s a little factory somewhere doggedly dedicated to this sole purpose, we’ve also thrown in some advice on the basic tenets of timelapses. We’ve discussed their thematic purpose as well as the practicalities of making them. But we’ve never given you a DIY tutorial. So here’s a straightforward one by Zack Wise that covers all the bsasics on how to create a timelepase with a DSLR . You will need a digital camera, an intevelometre, an ND Filter and Quicktime Pro.
