Urban Times‘ Jono Namara interviews Neil Cairns, Executive Programme Producer for Al-Jazeera’s groundbreaking new environmental solutions show, “earthrise”; tagline – “An Environment for Solutions”.
The show, which has just released its 5th Episode (all of which you can see online as well as on Al-Jazeera English Television) is unique in its combination of scientific education and solutions-driven ethos. The range of presenters travel the globe in search of the most relevant solutions being tested to tackle our planet’s environmental issues. Neil explains the vision of the show and gives an insight into how to improve the quality of our lives. The key? Optimism!
