Timelapse: Once a Year in Southern Germany
Once a year the Southern part of Germany is occupied by tourists from all over the world wearing traditional Bavarian Lederhos’n and Dirndl, sitting on benches and wondering about the size of German beer steins. Although theWiesn, or more commonly known as Oktoberfest, in Munich is the biggest and most popular of such beer festivals, one can experience a lot more traveling through Germany between spring and autumn . If you are in search of a more familiar and charming example, make sure to visit the Bavarian city Rosenheim, located between Munich and Salzburg, in the first two weeks of September. What you can expect of leaving the main travel routes is well documented by an enthusiastic local and talented photographer.
