The Rise of the Tablet

They never seem to leave us; you can’t go on a tube journey without seeing someone with one, young people and old people are fighting over them, and last month at CES, it was confirmed that they have no interest in fading out. Those sheets of multi-touch glass and aluminium, also known as ‘the newspaper killer’ seem to be taking us over, and it won’t be long, before someone without one (in the developed world) is abnormal. This, is the tablet computer.

But did you know that over 45% of U.S Tablet Owners earn more than $100,000 (£63,000) a year? Or that those aged 55 and up are the second most likely to own a tablet?
