Driverless Cars Are Now [INFOGRAPHIC]

By now most of us have heard of Google Driverless Cars, even if you did just think they were rumours.

But until recently, even when seeing the demoes (Sebastian Thrun at TED), I thought of it as something which will happen way off in the future, a little bit like the flying car. However, with more states passing laws to allow driverless cars, the possibility we’ll all be kicking back and relaxing whilst the car does all the hard work doesn’t seem too far off.

As the infographic below shows, the technology is already here and by the looks of it, it couldn’t come quick enough!

interesting...finally i can make use of my commute!

Is this serious? Can it be? It has to be a joke. Or have I missed something very important in the world of transportation?
