Jenny Gai

Biography

I am a UPenn graduate supposedly trained in the fields of biochemistry and environmental studies. I currently work at DuPont as a Product Stewardship and Regulatory Analyst, and I appreciate the fact that I love my job. In my spare time, you can find me playing ultimate frisbee, watching re-runs of Sex & the City, Googling esoteric grammar rules, or traveling (when I have the money). Occasionally, I can be roused into studying for the GRE and LSAT, two unfortunate prerequisites to enter the world of higher, higher education. I am always on the go, usually in search of great food and fabulous shoes.

My Urban Times Story

I would definitely characterize myself as an optimistic, forward thinking. It has a really nice ring to it, especially in this day and age. This is why I am particularly excited to have stumbled upon this vast and amazing network of people. I see this as an opportunity to join a community of creative and intellectual individuals who strive to use their voices to generate positive changes in the world around them. The ethos and the finished product of the Urban Times is something I have always conceptualized, but never quite been able to achieve, until now. So, I read, I write, and hopefully, I am heard.
